Lyrics: There’s a reason for the sunshinin’ sky So, let that feelin’ grab you deep inside Just let your love flow like a mountain stream
Let your love fly like a bird on a wing There’s a reason for the warm sweet nights So, let that wonder take you into space Just let your love flow like a mountain stream Let your love fly like a bird on a wing Just let your love flow like a mountain stream Let your love fly like a bird on a wing Just let your love flow like a mountain stream

Tonight on Dances With Bass Radio, I am feeling the love, my babies. Let Your Love Flow was a crossover country hit performed by country music duo, The Bellamy Brothers. What most people don’t know, however, is that this song was written by one of Neil Diamond’s roadies. Fortunately for the brothers Bellamy, Diamond passed on recording the song. The Bellamy Brothers version soared to number 1 on the Billboard charts in 1976. The Bellamy Brothers consist of David Milton and Homer Howard Bellamy, who still tour today. Unbeknownst to even this hardcore music fan, The Bellamy Brothers charted 20 number one singles and more than 50 hits overall on the country charts. I knew that they’d had some success in the world of country music, but I was not aware just how profoundly successful they have been. In any event, snuggle up to someone you love tonight and sing this into his or her ear. He or she will thank you. I promise.
