Lyrics: When it all goes crazy and the thrill is gone When there’s so much trouble that you wanna cry Just remember I love you and it’ll be all right When you need a lover and you’re down so low
When the blues come calling at the break of dawn Just remember I love you and it’ll be all right

Tonight on Dances With Bass Radio, we’re in a mellow, groovy kind of mood, and nothing quite hits the mark like Firefall’s Just Remember I Love You. This track was the hit single from 1977’s Luna Sea. Firefall was formed in 1974 in Colorado and featured Rick Robert’s who had found previous success in The Flying Burrito Brothers. Firefall later featured Mark Andes, who has played bass for Spirit, Heart, and Jo Jo Gunne, and drummer Michael Clarke, who rose to fame in the 1960s with The Byrds (and sadly died of liver failure in 1993). Firefall’s landed a number of Billboard hits, including You Are the Woman (1976), Strange Way (1978), Cinderella (1977), Headed for a Fall (1980), and Staying with It (1981) with female vocalist Lisa Nemzo. Firefall still tours today, though without founding member Rick Roberts, or Michael Clarke.
