Lyrics: It seems like weeks since you looked at me, baby, without that look of distaste And all those times when our lips were kissing, our tongues were telling lies
So come on babe, let’s kiss this thing goodbye I sometimes feel when we’re together baby, everything has turned out wrong I’ve been waiting up by the window watching these cars go by So come on babe, let’s kiss this thing goodbye Now I’m watching the fumes foul up the sunrise, I’m watching the light fade away Better make it sooner than later Get It: At just six bones, you can’t go wrong picking up a copy of Waking Hours at Amazon:

This track comes from Del Amitri, a criminally underrated band hailing from Scotland. Del Amitri scored a top 40 hit with Always the Last to Know and had a couple of other minor hits, but they’ve largely faded into obscurity. Kiss This Thing Goodbye charted in the UK and a tiny dent on the U.S. charts, but it is a mainstay in multiple playlists here at Dances with Bass Radio. Video: This is the original UK version of the video for Kiss This Thing Goodbye. And here is a live performance: You Might Also Like:
