Lyrics: Well I’m so above you
Oh, oh-oh I got a love that keeps me waiting Well your mama kept you but your daddy left you Oh, oh-oh I got a love that keeps me waiting Oh, oh-oh I got a love that keeps me waiting |
Hailing from that great blues powerhouse, Ohio, [insert sound of a needle scratching a record] the Black Keys have been around for quite some time but only gained national praise in 2011, with the release of its seventh album, El Camino. Now, I don’t know about you, but I’ve been to Akron, Ohio, and great blues-infused rock isn’t the first (or 873rd) thing to come to mind. That said, these boys can bring it. I first heard the Black Keys in 2008 with the release of Attack & Release, and have been a fan since. Do yourself a favor: move all coffee tables, ottomans, kids, and pets out of the way, fire up Lonely Boy, and turn it up to 11. You’re welcome. (And if the official music video for this track doesn’t make you laugh out loud, I seriously question your sense of humor.) Video: You Might Also Like: |
