Fans of Arcade Fire, The Killers, and other 1980s-steeped bands will enjoy Young the Giant’s chiming, jangly guitars, powerful beat, and anthemic vocals. Originally known as The Jakes, Young the Giant adopted its new moniker in 2010 and has since released two top 20 records: 2014’s Mind Over Matter and 2016’s Home of the Strange. Their self-titled debut remains in heavy rotation here at DWB Radio, but what I really want to know is whether I can pull off vocalist Sameer Gadhia’s hairstyle? Video:
