Just how often does one get to see an albino musician positively shred the keyboards, saxophone, and drums in a single video? In the following live performance, Edgar Winter does just that. The Edgar Winter Group’s 1972 album, They Only Come Out at Night, contained two rock radio hits: Free Ride and Frankenstein. Multi-instrumentalist Edgar Winter has released 21 albums, some solo and some with his band, and continues touring today at 71. As a side-note, my local classic rock station, WFBQ Q95, played Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo so many times during the 1980s that I can longer bear to hear to it. That song has become a station changer for me, but I digress. Let Frankenstein put some shimmy in your proverbial shake, my babies.
